We are off to a great start!

Well, I think we are off to a great start! We completed our first week of school in our new building and I think the children are adapting wonderfully. Students were introduced to a lot of new procedures and routines that we will continue to work on in the weeks to follow.

The homework agendas for our school district are on order, but will not be in until mid- September. Please look for a homework assignment sheet in your child's homework folder that will be completed on Friday afternoons. This sheet should remain in the folder and can be initialed just like the agendas would be. I will check these each morning. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Below are the homework assignments and spelling list for the week of August 24, 2009. Studying for spelling and vocabulary tests are assigned to Thursday, but students will be practicing with these throughout the week in class, and are encouraged to review them at home each night.
