Hello, everyone! Welcome to our "All About Alton Week." We will be studying the history of Alton for both guided reading and social studies this week. We will be doing activities and reading about Robert Wadlow, Elijah P. Wadlow, Lewis and Clark, Rufus Easton, and more! Our field trip will be on Friday. We are hoping for good weather! Please be sure to wear comfortable clothing and good shoes for walking.

Since we will not be going on to our next lesson in Storytown, the basic spelling and challenge lists will look a little different. Our spelling test will be on Thursday.

Hello, everyone! Please let us know if you have any concerns or questions about your child's progress report. I cannot believe we are half -way through the first quarter!

Permission slips for our first field trips will go home this week. Please sign and return these and the $1 admission to the Alton History Museum. We are asking for them no later than Friday, September 24th. We will begin our study of Alton History this week in social studies.
